BELGRADE, February 27. /TASS/. Serbia will not surrender on the Kosovo issue, President Aleksandar Vucic said in a video posted on Instagram (banned in Russia as it is owned by Meta Corporation designated as extremist by the Russian authorities) on Monday.

"We are leaving for Brussels in 15 minutes. We have made our final preparations. I would like to tell those who are ready to accuse us of being traitors if we sign anything <...> and those who are ready to blame us for the return of the 1990s if we sign anything that they have no reason to worry. There will be neither a surrender nor a return to the 1990s. Serbia will move forward and no matter how hard it is, we will succeed," Vucic said.

The video, made by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, also showed Prime Minister Ana Brnabic sitting beside Vucic.

Talks on a French-German plan to settle relations between Belgrade and Pristine are scheduled to take place in Brussels on February 27. The European Union’s Special Representative for the Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak is expected to hold separate negotiations with the Serbian president and Prime Minister of the unrecognized Kosovo Albin Kurti, which will be followed by their meeting.
