WARSAW, February 21. /TASS/. The conflict in Ukraine could last more than a year and Ukraine is in for "hard and very bitter days," US President Joe Biden said in a speech in Warsaw on Tuesday.

"We have to be honest and clear-eyed as we look at the year ahead. The defense of freedom is not the work of one day or even a year," he said.

"Ukraine continues to defend itself against the Russian onslaught and launch a counteroffensive of its own. There will continue to be hard and very bitter days, victories and tragedies, but Ukraine stands ready for the fight ahead".
