Three saved from rubble in Turkey’s Hatay in past day — Russian Emergencies Ministry

The ministry also said that its teams continued working in Turkey’s Kahramanmaras

MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. Three people were saved from the rubble in Turkey’s Hatay in the past day, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

"Three people, who are Turkish nationals, were saved from the rubble in the past day. The search for Russian citizens continues," the statement reads.

According to the ministry, over the past two days, Russian emergency workers demolished seven weakened structures in order to ensure safety during search and rescue activities Unmanned aerial vehicles are being used to monitor the situation from the air.

The ministry also said that its teams continued working in Turkey’s Kahramanmaras. "Last night, they examined four sites where the work is now completed. They worked in new locations during the day. As of now, search for survivors is over at seven sites," the statement added.
