Eight countries side with anti-Russian sanctions — EU Council

So far, Serbia is the only EU candidate country refusing to introduce anti-Russian sanctions

BRUSSELS, January 23. /TASS/. Eight countries, including Ukraine, aligned themselves with all the decisions on EU sanctions against Russia, the Council of the EU said in its statements on Monday.

"The [EU] candidate countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EFTA [European Free Trade Association] countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, align themselves with this Council Decision," the EU Council said.

Serbia is the only EU candidate country refusing to introduce anti-Russian sanctions so far.
