DONETSK, March 30. /TASS/. The Donetsk People’s Republic will define its own future once it reaches its borders as defined by the constitution, DPR head Denis Pushilin said during a press conference in Donetsk, answering a question whether the republic plans to accede to Russia.
"Right now, we act under the idea that the republic is an independent sovereign state. All in good time. First, we must reach our constitutional borders. We will make a decision later," he said.
Previously, Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik said that LPR may hold a referendum shortly, where its residents will voice their opinion on accession to Russia.
