Turkey allows entry to Russians inoculated with any Russian vaccine — foreign minister

ANTALYA, June 30. /TASS/. Turkey is open to Russian nationals inoculated with any Russian vaccine without a coronavirus test, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told a news conference after talks with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday.

"Turkey accepts Russian tourists if they have received two doses of any [registered] Russian vaccine, that is have been vaccinated. Otherwise, we request a negative coronavirus test done within 72 hours before they fly to the republic," the foreign minister said.

Cavusoglu added that at talks with Lavrov, Turkey offered Russia to mutually recognize vaccination passports.

Mass vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection of people older than 18 kicked off in Russia on January 18. As of today, four COVID vaccines, namely Sputnik V, Epivaccorona, CoviVac, and Sputnik Light, have been registered in Russia.
