ANKARA, December 26. /TASS/. A Turkish delegation, featuring Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, will visit Russia on December 29, Omer Celik, spokesman for the Justice and Development Party headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said on Wednesday.
"On Saturday, a delegation, featuring Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and National Intelligence Organization head Hakan Fidan, will pay a visit to Russia," Celik said.
According to the spokesman, "if needed, [after the delegation’s visit] the presidents of Turkey and Russia might hold one-on-one talks."
On Tuesday, Cavusoglu announced plans for a visit to Moscow so as to discuss the US troops’ withdrawal from Syria.
Besides, President Erdogan does not rule out his talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in near future.
