MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. A passenger train and a truck have crashed in the Rostov Region, local emergency services told TASS.
"According to preliminary information, the car driver and a train driver assistant were killed. Two more people were injured," a source said.
A pair of wheels of the engine derailed, he said.
Local law enforcement authorities specified that the collision took place in the Azovsky District on the North Caucasus Railway. "The train was going from Arkhangelsk to Novorossiysk," a law enforcement official specified.
"According to one of the versions, the truck driver violated traffic rules on the rail crossing," the source said.
