MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Last year, Russia for the first time enforced a ban on foreign media outlets as a retaliatory measure, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said in his annual report to the Federation Council (parliament).
"A decision was made for the first time to prohibit 81 foreign media outlets in our country, and I would like to point out that it was a retaliatory action. Access to their information resources was restricted," Krasnov specified.
