Russian mobile hospital arrives in Myanmar

The additional force comprises 50 rescuers, doctors and medical workers

NAYPYIDAW /Myanmar/, March 30. /TASS/. An Il-76 plane of the Russian emergencies ministry, carrying a mobile hospital and an additional team of rescuers and doctors arrived in Myanmar to assist in the post-earthquake rescue effort, the head of the Russian rescue squad Sergey Vorontsov told TASS.

"An aeromobile hospital has arrived here to provide assistance to affected residents," he said.

The additional force comprises 50 rescuers, doctors and medical workers.

It is the third plane, sent by Russia to the disaster zone. Previously, two planes brought 120 rescuers, doctors and canine specialists to the country.
