Nearly 70 civilians evacuated from Sudzha by soldiers, volunteers — acting governor

Alexander Khinshtein further noted that 52 evacuees had already been taken to temporary accommodation centers in the Kursk Region, while 16 others were staying with relatives

KURSK, March 12. /TASS/. The army and volunteers have successfully evacuated 68 residents from the town of Sudzha in the Kursk Region. According to preliminary reports, none of the evacuees required emergency hospitalization, stated Alexander Khinshtein, the acting governor of the region.

"A total of 68 individuals have been evacuated from Sudzha by the army and volunteers," he announced on his Telegram channel.

Khinshtein further noted that 52 evacuees had already been taken to temporary accommodation centers in the Kursk Region, while 16 others were staying with relatives. All evacuees have undergone medical examinations. "Preliminary information indicates that no one requires urgent care in a hospital," he emphasized.

Those relocated to temporary accommodation centers will receive further medical evaluations from doctors at district hospitals. The Emergency Situations Ministry, the region’s Health Ministry, the Committee for Regional Security, and police officers are actively working on the ground to address the needs of all evacuees, Khinshtein added.

He expressed gratitude to the army, the autonomous non-profit organization Patriot, the National Guard (Rosgvardiya), the Emergencies Ministry, and the medical personnel involved in the evacuation efforts.
