KAZAN, December 3. /TASS/. The Court of Arbitration of Tatarstan has officially declared Artyom Lukoyanov, a forward for the Ak Bars Kazan ice hockey team, bankrupt, according to court records.
"A decision has been made to declare citizen Lukoyanov bankrupt and to begin the sale of his assets," the court's website states.
Lukoyanov filed for bankruptcy earlier in September. According to the Federal Bailiff Service, he owes more than 30 million rubles ($281,000). The player is also carrying multiple credit debts.
Lukoyanov had been with Ak Bars since 2011, but this summer, the club and the player failed to reach a new contract agreement. In August, Lukoyanov joined the Yunison Moscow club.
