According to the US leader, Israel’s strikes on the Lebanese capital city had not been coordinated with the United States.

Earlier in the day, Israel delivered a strike on a Hezbollah target in a Beirut suburb, as it said, to retaliate Hezbollah shelling attacks on Israeli territory.
