Hainan to release aerial video of Haikou from bird's eye view

The video will be available online on June 28

HAIKOU /China/, June 27. /TASS/. South China's Hainan Province will release a video about the region's administrative center, Haikou City, the local administration said.

"Haikou from a bird's eye view" will be available online on June 28, according to the local government. Natural light and environmental friendliness take center stage in the short film with the image of the morning city drowning in greenery, the "endless stream" of the Nandu River flowing through it and with flocks of birds over the mangrove forests.

The press office of the Publicity Department of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee is noted to have created the video to show the city from different angles, in all its diversity. Viewers are invited to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of tranquility, as well as to feel the "vitality and boiling energy" and better understand the opportunities presented of its development. 

In line with the author's vision, the film depicts the extraordinary scenery and special aura of Hainan Free Trade Port. It shows the flair with which professionals and enthusiasts are creating a roadmap for Haikou's development with their own hands.

The video gives a sense of Haikou's "rhythmic vitality", imbued with the charm of local nature. The greenery of subtropical forests and vast wetlands is said to "fill the city like a poetic image." The authors showed its cultural image, which has a long history.

The film captures the combination of coconut groves and the sea breeze, the monsoon that brings warmth to Haikou. "The dream of summer begins here," the authors point out. "Under the brilliant stars, the city of opportunity takes on a new life."

Hainan's administrative center

Haikou is over 900 years old. It is the main cultural and economic center of the province, which is actively developing cooperation with other countries. With a population of 2.9 million, the city accounts for about one-third of Hainan's gross regional product. According to the Chinese government's plan, a large cluster of headquarters and representative offices of a number of multinational companies is being formed here.
