Russia’s financial watchdog blacklists two Ukrainians charged with killing Darya Dugina

The list also includes the head of the Georgian National Legion fighting in Ukraine, Ushangi Mamulashvili

MOSCOW, February 29. /TASS/. Russia’s financial watchdog has blacklisted Ukrainian citizens Bogdan Tsyganenko and Natalia Vovk as terrorists and extremists involved in the killing of Daria Dugina, according to watchdog’s website.

Darya Dugina, 29, a journalist and public figure, daughter of philosopher Alexander Dugin, died on August 20, 2022 when her car was blown up on a road near Moscow. According to the Federal Security Service (FSB), the assassination was plotted by Ukrainian secret services. The perpetrator was identified as a citizen of Ukraine, Natalia Vovk. Later, the FSB said Vovk prepared the attack together with another member of a Ukrainian subversive-terrorist group - Ukrainian citizen Bogdan Tsyganenko. Warrants for their arrest were issued in absentia.

The list also includes the head of the Georgian National Legion fighting in Ukraine, Ushangi Mamulashvili. He is charged with mercenarism and incitement to hatred through the mass media with the use of violence by a person using his official position. A Russian court declared him wanted, too.
