DONETSK, July 31. /TASS/. More than 9,000 civilians have been killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) as a result of shelling attacks by Ukrainian troops since 2014, the DPR’s mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) for issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said on Monday.
"In all, from 2014 to 2023, as many as 9,004 civilians, including 228 children, were killed. <…> Over 529 days of the escalation, as many as 4,630 civilians, including 137 children, were killed," the mission wrote on its Telegram channel.
More than 12,800 civilians, including nearly 800 children, have been wounded since 2014. Of them, some 4,900, including 328 children, have been wounded since the beginning of the special military operation.
