Venerated filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci passed away at the age of 77. Bertolucci won nine Oscars and influenced generations of movie directors with his groundbreaking masterpieces such as “The Conformist” and “Last Tango in Paris”. In recognition of his work, he was presented with the inaugural Honorary Palme d'Or Award at the opening ceremony of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
