Neuralink chip patient writes first post on X using thoughts

Nolan Arbaugh, 29, said X banned him because they thought he was a bot

NEW YORK, March 23. /TASS/. The first patient to get a cybernetic implant from Elon Musk's Neuralink Noland Arbaugh wrote his first post on the social network X with his thoughts.

"First ever post made just by thinking, using the Neuralnk Telepathy device!" Musk commented reposting the original message.

"Twitter banned me because they thought I was a bot, X and [Elon Musk] reinstated me because I am," the original post said.

Nolan Arbaugh, 29, said he was paralyzed in an accident approximately eight years ago and can't feel anything below his shoulders. A man can now use his thoughts to move the cursor on the chessboard on his laptop screen, rearranging the pieces. Arbaugh says he plays computer games and takes breaks to recharge his device.

On January 28, Musk said that the Neuralink implant had been successfully implanted into the human brain. According to him, the device's performance is promising.
