KURSK, February 3. /TASS/. Russian air defenses have downed 23 Ukrainian drones over the Kursk Region in the past 24 hours, while the Ukrainian armed forces opened artillery fire 25 times on border areas, the region’s Governor Alexander Khinshtein wrote on his Telegram channel.
"Overall, between 9:00 a.m. (06:00 a.m. GMT) on February 2 and 7:00 a.m. (04:00 a.m. GMT) on February 3, a total of 23 enemy drones of various types were neutralized. The enemy fired artillery 25 times on evacuated areas. Drones attacked our territory 10 times by dropping explosive devices," the governor wrote.
A motor vehicle was destroyed in the Gnilovka village of the Rylsky district, a car body and windows were damaged in the Akimovka settlement, and two cars were damaged with three people injured in the Mikhailovka settlement. The facade and windows of a house were damaged in Vishnevo settlement in the Belovsky district. According to Khinshtein, there were no fatalities.
