MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. The frontline situation speaks for itself, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on Vladimir Zelensky’s refusal to surrender Donbass willingly.
"As regards Donbass, the developments on the front speak for themselves, and it’s hardly worth adding anything else here," he said in response to a TASS reporter’s question.
In a conversation with reporters earlier, Zelensky rejected any compromises toward peace as he insisted that Kiev will not "cede Donbass or the ZNPP (Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant - TASS) to the Russians" without fighting.
Russian forces are going on a successful offensive in Donbass as they clear one locality after another of Ukrainian formations over there.
