Russian artillery, UAVs thwart Ukrainian troop rotation near Redkodub in Donetsk region

"According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian armed formations lost up to 30 personnel dead and wounded and also two pickup trucks and three motor vehicles," military expert Andrey Marochko said

LUGANSK, May 21. /TASS/. Russian troops delivered strikes by artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to thwart the rotation of Ukrainian troops near the settlement of Redkodub in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), inflicting about 30 casualties on the enemy and destroying several pieces of its equipment, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS on Wednesday.

Live-recording equipment helped Russian forces uncover a group of Ukrainian soldiers heading towards Redkodub in the Donetsk People’s Republic for troop rotation, the military expert said.

"After concentrated fire by artillery and attack drones delivered by the Russian Armed Forces, the enemy column was crushed and the personnel scattered in the outskirts. According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian armed formations lost up to 30 personnel dead and wounded and also two pickup trucks and three motor vehicles," he said.

Marochko told TASS on May 14 that Russian troops had entered the village of Redkodub and were securing their positions in its eastern part.
