MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. An Mi-28NM attack helicopter has obliterated a temporary base of Ukrainian troops in a border area of Russia’s Kursk Region using a missile, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also released footage showing the strike mission.

"Before taking off, the crew received the coordinates of a temporary base of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk Region’s border zone. While performing the combat mission, the helicopter crew carried out a precise strike, firing a guided missile at the given coordinates. According to an intelligence report, the target was destroyed," the statement reads.

The helicopter returned to its home airfield after accomplishing the combat task, the Defense Ministry added.
