Kiev trying to counterattack in Donetsk area amid Russian army’s full dominance, says DPR

According to the report, Russian forces continue advancing through forest belts in the Velikaya Novosyolka frontline area

DONETSK, March 31. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops are deploying reserves and trying to counterattack near Chasov Yar, Dzerzhinsk and Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk region amid the Russian army’s full dominance, DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) Head Denis Pushilin said during a live broadcast on the Rossiya-24 television channel on Monday.

"Along the frontline, we continue recording full dominance of the Russian Armed Forces. But, undoubtedly, the enemy is trying to counterattack and the hotspots along the engagement line are certainly Chasov Yar where urban battles continue and the approaches to Dzerzhinsk where the adversary, let me put it this way, does not abandon attempts to deploy reserves and hold back the advance of our units. We see that the enemy continues deploying reserves there [in the Krasnoarmeysk direction]," Pushilin said.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue advancing through forest belts in the Velikaya Novosyolka frontline area, he added.
