MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. The Kiev regime has once again attacked Russian energy infrastructure facilities, contrary to its own statements, the Defense Ministry said.
According to it, the Ukrainian armed forces have attacked facilities in the Bryansk Region for a second straight day. In addition, Russia's air defenses downed a Ukrainian drone which targeted a gas storage facility in Crimea.
TASS has compiled the main information about the attacks.
Attacks on facilities in Bryansk Region
- On March 26, at about 5:00 p.m. local time [2:00 p.m. GMT], a Ukrainian drone attacked a facility of the Bryanskenergo company, a branch of the Rosseti grid operator. A 10 kV high-voltage line was disconnected, causing consumers in the Klimovsky district to be cut off from power.
- On March 27, at about 7:00 p.m. local time [4:00 p.m. GMT], a transformer substation was shut down as a result of a targeted Ukrainian artillery strike on a facility belonging to the local branch of Russia’s Rosseti grid operator.
Attempted attack on gas storage facility in Crimea
- On March 26, at about 5:00 p.m. local time [2:00 p.m. GMT], Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian fixed-wing strike drone over Crimea in the area of Cape Tarkhankut.
- The drone targeted the ground equipment of the Glebovskoye underground gas storage facility.
