Death toll from Ukrainian crimes in Russia’s Kursk rises to 167 since 2022 — investigators

As many as 736 criminal probes have been launched as hundreds of civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged

MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. The death toll from crimes committed by the Ukrainian military in the Kursk Region has reached 167 since 2022, with 500 people being wounded, the Russian Investigative Committee told TASS following an operational meeting convened by its head, Alexander Bastrykin, in the bordering Russian region.

"Since 2022, 167 civilians in the Kursk Region have been killed as a result of crimes committed by Ukrainian militants, and 500 people have sustained wounds," the Investigative Committee revealed.

As many as 736 criminal probes have been launched as hundreds of civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged.

During his working trip, Bastrykin visited the Kursk regional hospital.
