MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS. FPV drone teams of Russia’s Battlegroup West destroyed a British-made FH70 howitzer and a Nota electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
"The Russian Defense Ministry uploaded footage based on live-recording images showing the destruction of an FH70 howitzer and a Nota electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army by teams of wire-guided FPV drones from the Battlegroup West in the area of the special military operation in the DPR," the ministry said in a statement.
The personnel of a reconnaissance unit from the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Battlegroup West used UAVs in a forest belt in the special military operation area in the Donetsk People’s Republic to uncover a camouflaged FH70 howitzer at a firing position and a Nota electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army. After an analysis of the data received, a decision was made to deliver a strike on the enemy’s military hardware," the ministry said in a statement.
"The uncovered targets were promptly destroyed by teams of wire-guided FPV drones of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Battlegroup West. Live-recording images received in real time show strike drones delivering sequential direct hits on the British-made 155mm FH70 howitzer and the Nota electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army," it said.
