Zelensky doesn't want peace in Ukraine, 'for now everything is not serious' — Lavrov

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the settlement in Ukraine should bring about not a brief "respite" but long-term peace

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky will not seek peace in Ukraine until he receives security guarantees from the United States. "All of this is not serious," remarked Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov following discussions with Feridun Sinirlioglu, the Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

"Mr. Zelensky publicly declares that he does not want any ceasefire unless the Americans provide him with assurances that they will launch a nuclear strike on Russia if necessary. He frames the issue in much the same manner. For now, this is not serious," Lavrov emphasized.
