Kremlin doubts OSCE will change tack on Ukraine after its chief visited drone attack scene

The OSCE delegation led by Sinirlioglu could see the damaged apartment building in a western neighborhood of Vidnoye on the ground, a TASS correspondent reported earlier

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has played down expectations that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will reconsider its stance on the Ukraine conflict after its secretary general, Feridun Sinirlioglu, earlier on Tuesday visited the location of the overnight Ukrainian drone attack outside Moscow.

"Such an expectation should not be exaggerated," the Russian presidential spokesman said in response to a relevant question. "It was absolutely right to take him [the OSCE chief] on an inspection tour to see the aftermath of the attack and the facilities being targeted by the Kiev regime," he argued, referring to residential buildings.

The OSCE delegation led by Sinirlioglu could see the damaged apartment building in a western neighborhood of Vidnoye on the ground, a TASS correspondent reported earlier.

The OSCE is scheduled to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later on Tuesday.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian drones were downed over Russian regions last night, with 91 unmanned aerial vehicles shot down over the Moscow Region in what became this year’s largest attack. The Russian Health Ministry specified that as many as 18 people, including three children, suffered injuries.

Also, residential and other buildings were damaged in the attack which came as Sinirlioglu arrived in Moscow and hours ahead of a meeting in Jeddah between US and Ukrainian officials.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the attack has risen to three.
