LUGANSK, March 4. /TASS/. Russian troops have penetrated the Ukrainian armed forces’ defenses near the settlement of Zagryzovo in the Kharkov Region and have advanced nearly one kilometer in their progress along the Oskol Reservoir, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
"As a result of breaching the defenses of the formations of Ukrainian forces southwest of Zagryzovo, our troops have managed to move forward up to one kilometer (0.6 miles) along the Oskol Reservoir. Russian troops have taken control of a forest belt to the southeast of Zagryzovo 1.5 kilometer (0.9 miles) in length," he said.
The expert added that when advancing in this area, Russian forces have also taken control of two forest belts to the west of Lozovaya, and have progressed up to 600 meters (0.37 miles) toward Novaya Kruglyakovka. Northwest of the settlement of Zelyony Gai, the Russian army has improved positions along both banks of the Zhuravka River.
