Putin to hold talks with Myanmar’s prime minister in Moscow on March 4 — Kremlin

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Myanmar’s Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing on March 4, the Kremlin press service has said. A joint statement is to be signed afterwards.

Min Aung Hlaing will be in Moscow on an official visit.

"Prospects for the further development of mutually beneficial Russian-Myanmar cooperation, as well as international issues will be discussed," the Kremlin said.

In addition to the joint statement, it is planned to "sign a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents."

The previous personal meeting between Putin and Min Aung Hlaing took place in Vladivostok in the fall of 2022, when Myanmar’s prime minister was attending the Eastern Economic Forum. The politician also received a congratulatory message from Putin on New Year's Eve 2025.
