Russian security official arrives in Malaysia for working visit

Russian Ambassador to Malaysia Naiyl Latypov met Sergey Shoigu at the airport

KUALA LUMPUR /Malaysia/, February 26. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu has arrived in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on a working visit, a TASS correspondent reported.

Russian Ambassador to Malaysia Naiyl Latypov met the Russian security official at the airport.

During the visit, Shoigu is expected to hold talks with the Malaysian leadership and discuss the prospects of deepening political, military, trade and economic, energy and humanitarian cooperation.

It was earlier reported that the day before Shoigu paid a working visit to Indonesia, where he met with the country's leadership.
