Volodin congratulated all those who were fulfilling their military duty in the special military operation, serving in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces and ensuring the country’s security in special services and police

MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. Defender of the Fatherland Day unites all those who love Russia and link their present and future with it, Chairman of the State Duma (the lower house of Russia’s parliament) Vyacheslav Volodin said on his Telegram channel on Sunday.

"Defender of the Fatherland Day unites all those who love Russia and link their present and future with it. Those who are ready at any moment in case of a danger to rise to the defense of the country, our Motherland," he stressed.

The Duma speaker congratulated all those who were fulfilling their military duty in the special military operation, serving in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces and ensuring the country’s security in special services and police, receiving military education at military schools and universities, preparing to come at any moment in defense of the Motherland and those who were working in the country’s defense industry.

"I want to convey special warm words of congratulations to the families of our servicemen, veterans and combatants! I heartily congratulate all of you on the holiday! I wish you happiness, health and victory!" he added.
