MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Moscow urges all responsible governments of other countries, as well as relevant international organizations, to condemn Kiev’s terrorist attacks on media, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a commentary with regards to a Ukrainian drone attack on the Channel One crew.
"We urge all responsible governments of countries to condemn the Kiev regime’s terrorist attacks and speak publicly against the Ukrainian army’s attacks on civilians, including members of the media," she said.
"We require that relevant international organizations <…> immediately respond to yet another odious crime by the Kiev regime and strongly condemn it," the diplomat added.
"Those guilty of an attempted assassination of the Russian journalist will be determined and justly inevitably punished," she stressed.
On Friday, Kursk Region Interim Governor Alexander Khinshtein said that Channel One cameraman Yury Sholmov sustained injuries when a Ukrainian drone targeted the TV channel's crew.
The Russian Investigative Committee has said that it started a criminal investigation into the drone attack, which it classified as an act of terrorism and obstruction of journalistic work.
