MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin says that he doesn’t rule out Vladimir Zelensky fleeing abroad and receiving support there from his masters.
"I don’t think that [political asylum] will be needed. I don’t know what he will do, but it is quite likely that, just like some other members of Ukraine’s political leadership that have already fled abroad, he will leave Ukraine as well," he said at his combined annual press conference and question-and-answer session.
"But he will be taken care of by those people whose interests he is serving now," he added.
He also said that "Russia rejects no one." "If, like a jack-in-the-box, he pops up here unexpectedly and says that he needs asylum, well, Russia rejects no one," Putin stressed.
