LUGANSK, November 25. /TASS/. Russian forces repulsed 30 attempts by the Ukrainian army to penetrate the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), eliminating nearly 10,000 enemy troops and mercenaries over the week, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS on Monday.

"Here is an analysis of the special military operation at the LPR frontiers over the week. On November 16-22, 2024, units of the Battlegroup West and South repelled 30 counterattacks by Ukrainian armed formations or four counterattacks less compared to the previous reporting period. Over the past three weeks, the enemy has been observed to scale down assault operations. The Ukrainian army’s losses in the responsibility areas of the Battlegroups North, South and West in the reporting period totaled about 9,675 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries. The largest number of militants was eliminated in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup South," the military expert said.
