Russia, Turkey to expand interparty cooperation — Russian Foreign Ministry

Mikhail Galuzin and Efkan Ala discussed global issues of building a multipolar world order on the principles of sovereign equality, mutual respect, inclusiveness, and the indivisibility of security

MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Deputy Chairman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party Efkan Ala stressed the importance of expanding interparty ties within Russian-Turkish cooperation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The sides discussed current bilateral issues and exchanged views on the current state of and prospect for the further development of Russian-Turkish cooperation in various spheres. They noted the importance of the further development of comprehensive ties between Russia and Turkey, including in the context of expanding interparty cooperation," it said.

Apart from that, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Galuzin and Ala discussed global issues of building a multipolar world order on the principles of sovereign equality, mutual respect, inclusiveness, and the indivisibility of security.

According to earlier reports, the United Russia and Turkey’s Justice and Development Party signed a protocol on wide cooperation, which provided for organizing youth exchanges, coordinating the parties’ activities within multilateral formats, and exchanding cooperation between women’s movements.
