BELGOROD, November 8. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have launched 22 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and more than 30 munitions at the Belgorod Region over the past day, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the region’s governor, reported on his Telegram channel.
"In the Belgorod district, four munitions in one shelling round and three drones were launched at the settlements of Krasny Khutor, Ustinka, and Yasniye Zori. Two private households were damaged," he wrote.
Three munitions were fired at the farmstead of Stary in the Volokonovsky district. Additionally, an air defense system intercepted four fixed-wing UAVs in the skies over the district. In the Grayvoronsky district, the Ukrainian armed forces launched seven munitions and seven drones at the settlements of Dronovka, Mokraya Orlovka, and Novostroyevka-Vtoraya.
The settlements of Grafovka, Demidovka, Popovka, and Repyakhovka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district were attacked by 16 munitions and five UAVs. "A power supply line was damaged. Currently, power supply in five settlements has been restored," the head of the region said.
Ukraine shelled the city of Shebekino in the Shebekinsky district, launching one munition and three UAVs. A drone attack on an apartment building wounded a woman. "The victim was admitted to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Medical staff assess her condition as moderately severe. All the necessary assistance is being provided," the governor said. Moreover, eight flats in two apartment buildings, a passenger car, and an infrastructure facility were damaged in Shebekino.
