MINSK, November 5. /TASS/. Russia and Belarus are jointly resisting Western pressure and sanctions, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin following a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State.

He recalled that December 8 will mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Union State.

"All these years, Russia and Belarus have been walking hand in hand, we are jointly resisting illegal sanctions, external pressure, defending the sovereignty of both our peoples and every person from Russia and Belarus," the Russian prime minister stressed.

"Under the leadership of our presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, we are creating a single economic, cultural and humanitarian space, comfortable conditions for the life of our people, for business, for attracting investment to our countries, for launching the most important innovative projects in all areas," Mishustin concluded.
