Ivangorod border crossing to be closed for repair from February 1, 2024

The Russian Foreign Ministry is instructed to notify the Estonian side about the decision made

MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. The Ivangorod automobile freight and passenger crossing points on the border of the Leningrad Region of Russia and Estonia will be closed for passing from February 1, 2024, according to the government enactment signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"The Ivangorod (Leningrad Region) automobile freight and passenger point of crossing the state border of the Russian Federation to be temporarily closed from February 1, 2024 for the period of its renovation (except its pedestrian component),’ the document reads.

The Russian Foreign Ministry is instructed to notify the Estonian side about the decision made.
