GENICHESK, March 14. /TASS/. Investors from many Russian regions are lining up to participate in the construction of a new city on the Arabat Arrow in the Kherson Region, the region’s Acting Governor Vladimir Saldo said in an interview with TASS, adding that a city master plan is being developed and design is underway now.
"Now the design of the city is underway and a master plan is being developed. There are requests from businessmen to participate in the construction, and I would even say that a line of investors has formed, who would like to participate in the project using their own money, not just government funds," he said.
Work on the construction of a new city, which will be located on the Arabat Arrow, is in full swing, Saldo added.
Arabat Arrow is a spit more than 100 km long, stretching from the southeastern coast of Crimea to the mainland.
