Russian artillery wipes out Ukrainian howitzer, six motor vehicles in Kherson area

12 soldiers were killed and six others sustained wounds of various severity

GENICHESK, February 27. /TASS/. Russian artillery delivered a strike on a Ukrainian military equipment site in the Kherson area, eliminating a howitzer and six motor vehicles, the regional emergencies services told TASS on Monday.

"Yesterday, the artillery struck the Ukrainian army’s equipment site near the settlement of Tomina Balka, as a result of which the enemy lost six motor vehicles while 12 soldiers were killed and six others sustained wounds of various severity," the region’s emergency services said.

The Russian artillery strike also obliterated a Ukrainian 2S1 Gvozdika howitzer with ammunition near the community of Tomarino, the emergency services said.
