MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. There are no immediate plans to organize any talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"So far no. There hasn’t been anything substantive for quite a long time. There have been no telephone talks between the two presidents, Putin and Macron, for some time. So, regrettably, we cannot state anything substantive now," he told reporters when asked whether there are plans to organize a meeting or a telephone call between the two presidents following Macron’s call for intensifying efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine.

In an interview with the France Inter radio station on Monday, the French leader said more active efforts were needed in the coming weeks in order to find a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis. He stressed that it was essential to continue dialogue with Putin.
