MOSCOW, July 14. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not announce the volume of loan support to Belarus in connection with the tax maneuver in Russia since this amount will still be specified.
"[The amount of loan support] will be specified, so I will refrain from naming any amount for now," he told reporters on Wednesday. Peskov added that it would be clarified in the near future.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, there is ongoing work on this issue. "The work is being carried out both bilaterally and through the government," he said.
On Tuesday, following a meeting between the Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, Peskov said that the parties had agreed on credit support for Belarus in connection with the tax maneuver in Russia. The meeting between Putin and Lukashenko lasted more than five hours. The presidents discussed the situation in the economy and in the field of international relations.
