MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. A total of 237 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected flying toward Moscow between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, with most of them shot down at distant approaches, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.
"As many as 237 UAVs were heading toward the Moscow Region between 8:30 p.m. on August 10 and 8:30 a.m. on August 11. Air defenses shot down most of them at distant approaches," he wrote on the Max social media platform.
Thirteen UAVs were destroyed on the outskirts of Moscow during that period, the mayor added.
