Air defenses down four drones targeting Moscow, mayor reports

First responders are working at the site where drone debris landed

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Four drones flying toward the Russian capital have been downed by the Russian Defense Ministry’s air defense forces, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported via Telegram.

"The Defense Ministry’s air defense forces have repelled four drone attacks targeting Moscow. First responders are working at the site where drone debris landed," the mayor specified.

The underside of a roof of a residential building in western Moscow has been damaged, emergency services told TASS.

Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport and Grabtsevo Airport in Kaluga, southwest of the megalopolis, resumed operation after lifting temporary restrictions on flight arrivals and departures.
