MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. /TASS/. Air defenses have shot down several air targets approaching Belgorod, the region’s Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.

"Over Belgorod and its environs our air defense system was activated. Several air targets approaching the city were shot down. No information about the consequences is available at the moment," he wrote.

On January 2, four missile attacks were recorded in the region. One civilian was killed and 11 others were wounded.
