One killed, one wounded in shelling of Russia’s Belgorod region — governor

According to the governor, the projectile hit another private house, which was fully destroyed, but no one was inside at that moment

TASS, February 23. A woman was killed in the shelling of Russia’s Belgorod Region, and her daughter was wounded, the region’s Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel on Thursday.

"The village of Borisovka in the Volokonovsky district came under shelling. A projectile hit a private house. A woman born in 1951 was killed," the governor said, adding that her daughter received medical assistance on the spot.

According to the governor, the projectile hit another private house, which was fully destroyed, but no one was inside at that moment. Two other houses were damaged by the shrapnel.
