MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia slowed to 10.35% from April 15 to 21 from 10.38% in the previous week, the Economic Development Ministry reported.
Previously, from April 8 to 14, annul inflation in Russia increased to 10.38% from 10.28% in the previous week.
"During the week from April 15 to 21, 2025 inflation slowed to 0.09%. Food inflation amounted to 0.21% in the reporting week, <…>. In the non-food segment, prices continued to decline (by 0.04% for the second consecutive week) <…>. In the services sector, price growth slowed down to 0.08%. Annual inflation was registered at 10.35%," the ministry said.
Earlier reports said that the ministry downgraded its inflation outlook for 2025 from 4.5% to 7.6% in its revised draft of scenario conditions of the country’s social and economic development. A ministry representative told reporters that the document had been submitted for the government’s consideration.
In 2026, inflation is projected to decline to 4%.
