Experts forecast global demand growth by 11% by 2030

The average growth rates will decline in the meantime, because of growing efficiency of nutrients use and the growth rate of the population not being dramatic, experts said

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. The global demand for fertilizers may grow by 11% by 2030, Implementa company said in its research available with TASS.

The average growth rates will decline in the meantime because of growing efficiency of nutrients use and the growth rate of the population not being dramatic, experts said. The demand for phosphate and potash fertilizers will grow quicker than for nitrogen ones.

"African markets may show the highest relative incremental growth of the demand for fertilizers. North America along with West and Central Europe are mature markets that will show modest growth," experts said. The demand will continue growing in Latin America and other regions.
