MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia increases fertilizer production by 7.6% year-on-year in January-February 2025, reaching 5 mln tons in terms of 100% nutrient content, according to data from the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
In February 2025, fertilizer output amounted to 2.4 mln tons, reflecting a 7.2% increase from the same period in 2024 but an 8.7% decline compared to January 2025.
Ammonia production in January-February grew by 8.2% year-on-year, reaching 3.2 mln tons. Meanwhile, sulfur output declined by 10% to 904,000 tons.
